• 18-hole, world-famous championship golf courses open for year-round play; five off the main clubhouse. Famed Pinehurst No. 2 will serve as the site of both the 2014 U.S. Open and U.S. Women’s Open Championships.
• The Spa at Pinehurst – 31,000-sq. ft., 28 treatment rooms, lap pool, steam, sauna, whirlpool. Offering over 50 treatments ranging from massage to bath to body treatments, salon, fitness services and KidsSpa/TeenSpa. Signature treatments incorporate the scents of the region: holly berry, peach, magnolia and pine.
• A Top 50-ranked tennis facility by Tennis Magazine, including 24 tennis courts (eighteen soft Har-tru and six hard surfaced) open for year-round play. Four of the courts are lighted. • Two immaculately groomed croquet courts open for year-round play – Pinehurst has served as the site of the U.S. Croquet Championship.
• A championship lawn bowling course, open for year-round play. Pinehurst has hosted the World Lawn bowling Championship.
• Lake Pinehurst and Beach Club, a 200-acre freshwater lake with seasonal sailing, canoeing, paddle boating, kayaking, fishing and swimming. Amenities also include beach volleyball, covered picnic areas, grills, certified lifeguards, a snack bar, restrooms and complimentary transportation from resort hotel.
